    Starting a shrimp nano

    The only thing that I have that lowers oh right now is the aquasoil but I may look at a scraping rock to combat that. Either holey rock or seiryu stone.

      nice shrimp, i love but havent made myself try em yet. they breed well for tim but i doubt they are 'plaque worthy' like RCS lol.

      oh never mind i see the plague shrimp now lol

          Looking like I may have to change my substrates. The ph in my tank is around 6.4-6.6. Any suggestions? I have tylos, cardinal shrimp, sakuras, and snowballs.

            That isn't good for the tylos and cardinals.

              Yea changing it tomorrow. What would be my bet option sand, gravel, flourite?

                      Yeah, wouldn't want the snowballs and sakuras together. They will crossbreed.

                              There's a limit to how many attachments you can have on the forum. I usually use a third party to upload pics to. Then copy & paste the IMG code and post it here. That way you can post up tons more pics.

                                So even on a strict 8 hour light cycle I am getting a decent amount of algae growth. Any other tips on dealing with this?
