    Starting a shrimp nano

The only thing that I have that lowers oh right now is the aquasoil but I may look at a scraping rock to combat that. Either holey rock or seiryu stone.

Looking like I may have to change my substrates. The ph in my tank is around 6.4-6.6. Any suggestions? I have tylos, cardinal shrimp, sakuras, and snowballs.

That isn't good for the tylos and cardinals.

                    • Yeah, wouldn't want the snowballs and sakuras together. They will crossbreed.

There's a limit to how many attachments you can have on the forum. I usually use a third party to upload pics to. Then copy & paste the IMG code and post it here. That way you can post up tons more pics.

                              • So even on a strict 8 hour light cycle I am getting a decent amount of algae growth. Any other tips on dealing with this?
