I spent my money bag on a bunch of High grade Crystal Red Shrimp (mostly A's with a few S+'s) so that left me with a pretty small budget for a tank. Luckily I had enough pieces lying around the place try and put one together. I grabbed the filter from a 10g tank, driftwood from my turtle tank and the more interesting stones from my pond edging. No need for a stand, I just put it next to my mixed species 20g long on the kitchen bar and they fill the space quite nicely, and you get to view the tank from both sides. All I had to buy really were the new 20g Long tank, black substrate, shop light and plants. And a hair curler. Tried to let it cycle for a couple days, but I figured the filter was already seeded so weeks wouldn't necessary. Sorry for the crappy pics. Turns out the camera that served me so well on many a drunken karaoke nights does nothing for shrimp tanks.
