I've never seen my assassin snails hitching rides on each other before, but I've seen my other snails do this. Is it normal behavior?

They aren't called "self cloning assassin snails" from what I've read. They got to get down and dirty sometime...

I know they have to mate to reproduce. Was just wondering if that's what they're doing or are they eating each other? There's plenty of food for them to eat.
