I was all too ready to laugh at this...but want to make sure this is not all that uncommon.
I cleaned out a friend's canister filter for the first time in...ever...and ended up snatching up 20+ cherry shrimp. My guess is that they have spent their entire young lives living in there. So I brought them home and they seem perectly at ease on the plants...doing their normal shrimp-thing; that is, until they go to swim around the tank. They seem to have very little sense of balance...just kinda letting the water current take them haphazardly wherever it will and when they find a good spot, they snatch on and continue their grazing. It's kinda funny to watch...but has anyone else ever noticed this when taking shrimp from a canister filter?
