After a little thought i was done with daughters tank. so i rebuilt 5gal tank to shrimp only. but I messed up and lost some fry. but if they breed once they will again.100_0973.jpg100_0972.jpg oh and panty hose make good pre-filter material.

Nice cherries! I've got some similar to yours, but I killed off like 80% of them with changing my substrate and introducing excel not too long after. Bad idea. Now I've got them in a different tank and blue velvets in the 5g. Is the pantyhose on the filter? It looks like some cotton like fabric on it and not pantyhose? Or maybe I'm just blind? :lupe:Comment

yes the panty hose is on the filter. a girl at lfs gave me the idea when we got the first fish for my daughter. the fish were fry a filter openings were to big for them. would a sponge filter be better for this tank?Fishes says "pook pook".Comment

You could run a sponge filter. It doesn't really matter. If you do, your shrimp will have more food to feast on. If not, it's not gonna kill them.Comment
