Bleach gets them good and then you don't have to worry about harming fish without scales or snails that you want. Just make sure to use dechlorinator afterwards.

We're just going to trash the substrate, wash everything down with bleach & start over. Was yours as bad as this, Steven?

I have a pair of assassin snails and now I rarely see other snails anymore. except for the two big nerites, all pest snails are dead... or hiding from the predator.

Worse. The substrate was MTS They've been sitting and repopulating for what seemed to be a very long time. The biggest ones were about 2"-2 1/2". Trashing the substrate and starting fresh is the way to go. Don't sift the substrate like I did... Took be a good 5 hours or so to sift all the substrate.

I've heard several times that they do. Once you see one, there's already 10 more. They reproduce fast! Assassin snails are great! Only thing is... the shell stays behind.

She is doing fine as frog's hair. She's not hiding this evening, she's out swimming around & eating. She & the 2 GBR ignore one another so everything is good. As you said, I'm sure she'll make a full recovery. Thanks for taking a look at her for me, Troy.

She would need an entire colony of assassin snails to kill these off. It's bad but apparently not as bad as Steven's!

Hmmm. Can clown loaches live with Angels & Guppies? If so, perhaps I can suggest she get one of those, too.

She's got 25+ guppies in the tank now with 2 angels & a commom pleco. She's never once seen any fry which isn't odd considering all the guppies are doing is being vending machines for the angels, lol.

well if she is going ot just decimate the population through bleaching and what not I don't see any reason to get any more bio load in there? Especially with her water change history.
