Re: Blue Lobster female with eggs - no male

Yep.  Open means Free.  :-)  I mean, really, if we have between 250 and 400 of the little buggers, what are we actually going to do with them.  There are only so many LFSs in town.

But, to make it more fun (for me), I think I'll do it like the Soup Nazi episode of Seinfeld.  Set up a steel table between the door and the aquarium and make everyone walk up to the table one at a time, put your container on the table, take one step back, and state how many.  If you don't like the ones you get, then NO LOBSTER FOR YOU!  ONE YEAR!

put me down for 20-30 of these guys please.

Oh and most us are "warped", so it only stands to reason our humor would be too.

You got it!   20-30 for Raul...since you are one of the "warped".  :-)

I'll try to check on them tonight.  Sometimes if I shine the flashlight in there at just the right moment, I'll catch her doing stuff with the eggs, but as soon as she notices me, that tail clamps up and I'm shut out.

Do you like ramshorn snails? I have a lot of those... I really hope we aren't counting your chickens...er, lobsters....before they hatch... That would be such a shame. Oh, I didn't get bread, can I have bread too?

Yes, that would suck very much if something happens and my 'chickens...er, lobsters' don't....um, hatch.

I have to admit that I don't know what a ramshorn snail is or does??  Is it food or maid-service?

Hmmm... they can be food or maid service...they are small and cute though, so I just keep them in with mollies who don't really care about them much. I've heard that bigger puffers like to eat them...but I have the pretty colors like pink and blue that you generally don't feed the the puffers...

But the guy in front of me didn't have to pay for his bread!
