I have used flourish in the past but stopped when I noticed a few deaths in the tank. Is there any fert that doesn't contain copper that would be recommended?

There is Brightwell Aquatics FlorinMulti, which is a comprehensive broad spectrum micronutrient fertilizer. It does contain a trace of copper, but also contains Iodide and Iron. To be honest, we have used Flourish for years with no incident of shrimp mortality. Are you wanting a Macro fertilizer or Micro? None of the Macro will contain Copper, though I have never seen a micro that does not have it in some small amount. In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

Sorry to highjack! Any recommendations on macro ferts?
Oh and I've also been using Flourish in my tank with no deaths (at least not related to the fert). They've actually been breeding with me dosing it. I dosed about 6 hours ago at 50 drops and some landed on the babies. They just ignored it and ate like normal.

You can use the three from Seachem, but dry are far cheaper and Green leaf has some decent deals
Here is there Macro+Micro pack, but they offer all individually as wellIn the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

Ill give the flourish another try but get a dropper to do my dosing with this time. Other than that I haven't used any other ferts. The only thing I have been adding is co2. I have been filling the diffuser that came with the fluval 20gram kit but I may switch to a normal diffuser for more space. What else should I be dosing? I have a few moss balls, anubias nana petite, a sword (not sure exact species), DHG and some floating HC.29 Gallon SA Tank -- 5 Bleeding Heart Tetras, Mated Pair of Angels, 7 Green Corys, and a Rubberlip Pleco

moss balls - No real need, very minimal requirements
anubias nana petite - Same, just clean leaves should algae/detritus buil up
sword (not sure exact species) - With no real issues, should be fine. Can occasionally have Iron defeciency issues
DHG - High Light and CO2, as long as everything looks good it should be fine
HC - Same as DHG above
Ferts and dosing should be for issues if you find one in your stock, then continue dosing to alleviate the issue in the future. In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

I agree that IMO, dosing Flourish as recommended shouldn't be causing you shrimp deaths. Try the others if it makes you feel safer, but I wouldn't worry.
I wouldn't suggest any other ferts unless you see a specific need, like if you had several red plants that began to lose their color, start dosing iron...if your nitrates are too low, dose nitrogen, stuff like that. I think the Flourish should be fine for what you have in there, about half of it is slow growing."I think that God, in creating man, somewhat overestimated his ability." -Oscar Wilde
