  • Clown pleco with snowballs!

Do y'all think its ok for me to have snowball shrimp in with a clown pleco? I don't want the clown to harm my shrimp.

Plecos shouldn't eat them unless they're dead or slow.

Oh, okay. Then I guess I'll leave him in there. Because I knew I saw Tim with plecos in with shrimp, did you pick up your pandas?

I've already got 18 other cories. Only going to pick up 10 of the Pandas. I saw like 5-6 different species of cories at FG and I wanted them all so bad. Prices are killer though... One sp. were $25 each.

Wow, I only like these. I really don't care to much about the others, these are my first Cories I've had. What do you feed yours?

              Ive had Julie's, but.. Ehh

Jullis are awesome! They looks similar to my C. Billineatus but without the red cheeks. You can feed them whatever. Mine aren't picky eaters. They eat NLS, Tilapia, Shrimp, Krill, Bloodworms, Beefheart, Blackworms, or anything else my Exodons don't catch.

Nls? Sorry. Lol what kind of shrimp frozen? Or freeze dried? And that will be a challenge my silver dollars and rams will attack the food before any reaches the bottom.

Silver dollars and rams will leave leftovers. It's enough for the cories. NLS = New Life Spectrum (brand of pellets). Thawed frozen shrimp. Freeze Dried doesn't sink. You can feed any pellet. I like using NLS, Omega One shrimp pellets, Hikari Massivore, and any of Ken's pellets. I've used them before and each of them are well taken by most fish. Massivore is a 10mm pellet though.

                      I have everything omega one.
shrimp pellets to cichlid pellet, flakes.

And hikari frozen everything, I will buy some frozen shrimp though. I want some more rams. I wish Tim would have some. Like the golden rams, and German blues.

Yeah but only if they aren't available at other LFS. German rams are usually available in LFS. Gold ones are from time to time.

Not necessarily. Selling things with competition has some difficulty. If a big box store carries them, that's a red flag to not order them. You're going to be competing against a company that has multiple stores compared to your single operation. The Petsmart close to my house usually has rams in stock and they don't sell as fast as otocinclus or mollies and platies. I'd rather go to the Petsmart down the street instead of driving 30min to get a ram even if the difference is $5. Gas money alone is pretty pricey.
