It's a warehouse. The front is the small lobby area with some display tanks. Towards the back is where the fish for sale are kept.

About the same. He mainly has South American fish and of them, he's mainly geared towards discus. He does have nice other stock as well.

Both FG. and HAW. have great selection. with quality fish. As for pet/smart, petco. the quality of their fish is in question. Qs, have you been to fish land? Its the closes LFS. to me. its off of westheimer and synott.

I work at petsmart, and I have to say my petsmart fish department is really well taken care of. We have 4 people working the fish wall. 3 of us including me have fish, and have knowledge for them. As for the other, (manager) has reptiles.

But we do take really good care of fish unlike other pet store workers , yesterday I went to the petsmart close to Tim's house,asked the guy some questions about there live plants to see what'd he say, he said " oh man sorry, I don't know. I just work here" and no I've never been to fish land, is it worth it?

So today my tank was perfect, then the lights shut off at 8, just now I turned it on and I saw a bunch of tiny snail looking things on the glass. There's about 20, it's weird. Are these snails growing in my tank,?

Do they look like Malaysian Trumpet Snails? Sounds like their typical behavior

I cannot see them, for there to small. There really tiny I don't know where they came from though just in 2 hours my glass was full of them!!! And my snowball shrimp just hide in the back.

Both Fish Land and HAW are worth a trip at least once. I like both stores and the owners are good people.

No all my plants in there are old, just the snowballs I added in yesterday. That's it, and my plants are starting to get that green fuzzy hair looking thing around them. I'm going crazy. And it's a low tech tank,
