Try cutting back on how long you leave the light on or if you're not doing any CO2, maybe try a DIY CO2 setup and see if that helps with the algae. Plants need CO2 in order to use up the nutrients in the water efficiently. If they don't have CO2 then the nutrients will be used by the algae more quickly than the plants can use up the nutrients. Fish produce CO2 so by taking the fish out you reduced your CO2 levels. It can be tricky to maintain the right balance of things in a tank that small. Scape looks good btw. I kinda like the red plant but your opinion is what matters. If it bugs you when you look at your tank then yank it out.

You think I should just add some fish back in there? I am not familiar with co2 at all. Lol

Lights on from 9am to 8pm. Weird thing is I have a ebi tank with tons of light but no algae at all what so ever! It looks amazing. It's so weird how only this little tank grows algae. And it has a crap ton less light than the ebi

Is your other tank heavily planted? The amount of plants and type of plants may be why it doesn't get algae. For the meantime I'd drop it from 11hrs to about 8hrs.

There's about, uhm. Not as much. I just have bigger plants and it makes it look like a lot.

It looks like more plants. Also certain plants are heavier feeders. That could also be a reason why one has algae and the other doesn't.
