      Ship Dates

         * By law, a merchant should ship your order within the time stated in its ads or over the phone. If the merchant doesn't promise a time, you can expect it to ship your order within 30 days.
         * The shipment "clock" begins when the merchant receives a "properly completed order." That includes your name, address and payment (check, money order or authorization to charge an existing credit account - whether the account is debited at that time or not).
         * If the merchant doesn't promise a shipping time and you are applying for credit to pay for your purchase, the merchant has an additional 20 days (50 days total) to establish the account and ship the merchandise.

          naah... its more fun when he has 30 days to refund everyone or else face court... and if he says "well I dont have the money to refund people" then he is going to be told "see the door over there ?  Follow the man with the gun and get ready to be outfitted in a little orange jump suit.   Ohh btw, we require 6 months of your time too....  at least that is what George Tsai got for scamming people with his battery sales.

          I dont care how many times he promises that shipment is coming or getting you a refund, because as a community, all I see is someone who is stalling in hopes you will give up the fight for the items will never arrive.  Many people will simply just buckle under over time.
          He has done this many many many times.  I can promise you this.

          If you google planet inverts, his store comes up first and the second link is a MASSIVE WARNING OF HIM SCAMMING PEOPLE --- since google works on how popular a webpage is, this means many people reads this specific page about him scamming people.

          Nacra99 -- one of the things you can do is open a webpage with a submissions page -- call it "planetinvert.com info gathering"
          On the page put down -- If you have an outstanding debt with Ryan at Planet Invert please put your name down, date of purchase, date of supposed shipping, days in waiting for a refund and the "current" standing, ie has Ryan told you that he will refund your money, ship etc...  
          Gather the information.   While you have that website up, Track down via old shipments etc from UPS etc, his shipping address, home address etc..
          Contact the local police department at where Ryan conducts his business at, and ask to speak with a detective.    Tell him that you have opened a public website where people can register and file complaints.  Since none is posted and the information is gathered so to turn over to him when the appropriate time comes.   Once you give him say 25-50 complaints with still outstanding refunds or shipments, he should quickly fall into the Felony category for thief of services and goods.  Once its a felony then you will have the case starting to roll.   Usually when you have about $1000 outstanding it becomes a serious case.
          What will happen in short, the owner of Planet Invert will be summoned to court.
          He will be told, you have 30 days to ship all of your shipments and/or refund outstanding money.
          If he/she fails to comply with the court order, he will be asked to don an orange suit for a while.

          Again if you dont think you can do this -- again look up George Tsai and battery sales...  he spent 6 months in jail because those "pesky damn online people, decided to build a case and him to jail, something that he believed would ever occur because each sale was just you know between $25-$50 -- he had about a two to one sales ratio in the end.. ie he was on average selling two batteries for each one he actually shipped out.

          Btw what makes this case so funny is that I read though many of the same style posts that "wood" posted over on APC using the almost same message style.

          Dude # 1 :  We talked a million times -- you know the problem -- I am refunding your money to you **not written** "stop posting **** so I can continue to scam people, and maybe in the end you will get your money back when I have made enough interest of your money
          Dude # 2 :  Dude I shipped you like 8 of them like 10 times to you, why do you constantly tell me that your not getting the items.  You must have given me the wrong address.  When I get some more in I will ship you some.
          Dude # 3 : I told you the refund is coming soon, really this time for realz -- please stop telling people that I am a bad person
          Dude # 4 : We have already talked like a million times about this.  The battery was out of stock for the last like 6 months, I just didnt update the website sorry.. as soon as I get some more in, I will try and ship you some next day...

          Here is an example of what a person who is desperate to keep his scam going...  
          Always a stall tactic, and always a request for people to shut up, because their business cannot handle the bad press...  
          I HATE PEOPLE WHO TAKES OTHER PEOPLES MONEY for services / goods not rendered.
          I love it when the cops show up and starts asking for books and everything they have about their company, and suddenly "sorry I dont have that"
          Their answer is always the same "you should have thought about that before you invested in a company..  

          Sorry for ranting on.  I have been scammed in the past, and I lost a job because of it.  I am not going to let is happen again if I can get away with it.

            You really should call your credit card company, they have the ability to reverse the transaction and if there are enough complaints they will cancel his ability to accept credit cards. Don't keep waiting, admit you've been scammed and go after the bas***d!!

              First off.... I am not running a scam. I am not selling batteries. I dont know who that person is.

              I have maybe 10 outstanding orders that the customers are upset with. All of those 10 are in communication with me including Vanson. I have sold hundreds of orders so my shrimp ration is not comparable to the battery ratio of the guy in jail. The store has been online since August of last year.

              It will get resolved.

              To those that dont know what is going on but wish to send me to Gitmo, please dont jump to conclusions.

              Also, Raul and nacra were sent shrimp and they died. I am more than willing to replace them and have already agreed. I have slacked on replacing them though. Raul just emailed me today.

                  Ryan, you would be upset as well if you sent $400 to someone and have not received anything.  I paid you on May 11th and today is July 23rd.  I think that is MORE than adequate time for someone to send a refund.  Its ridiculous actually.   Also, you say we are in "communication"  yet you never answer any of my questions!  When I ask for a refund, you state that you are "sorting things out".

                    Welcome Ryan.  I wish you were joining under better circumstances as well.  

                    I think Ryan is trying to make things right.  I believe he is a good guy but hit with some bad circumstances.  How Ryan bounces back into the groove of things, I believe we will soon see.

                      Let me preface what I said above, what someone else did in the past, ie George Tsai of California, is an example of what happens to people who consistently attempts to avoid paying back or shipping promised goods.  What I am saying is if you take the time and look though the 1000's of pages of internet information about him and his issues with the law, etc. you would understand the comments I made in regards to what has been said in the past by someone who was convicted by a court of law and spent jail time because he did exactly what sounds like is going on with you.

                      He blamed everything between heaven and earth, on why he could not ship or refund money.

                      Let me tell you a short story so you understand where I come from.  In 1990 I went to work for a cellphone provider, the first day there happen also to be my birthday.  I was brand new to phone sales and because they needed phone people to take sales orders immediately they put me on the phone.  Maybe the 5th call I took that day was from a very nice man who ordered a cellphone.  I made the sale.  5 months later I would find out that the man had scammed the cellphone provider I worked for, and I was blamed for not making 100% sure that I had all of his credentials in order.  I had a photocopy of his ID like was required, but in the end since I had not looked close enough it was deemed my fault that I cost the company money. (They no longer are in business) I was fired and was never paid my April paycheck.. at that time almost $1,800.00....  that hurt...

                      I would like to point out the website I posted regarding fraud is the Federal Trade Commissions website.

                      BTW double bagging breather bags like you do, adds insult to injury, because its completely against what Kordon tells you on their website.

                      ** In the end Ryan, in hopes you read this whole thing, I hope you do the right thing, and if what you say is true, considering I have been to many boards lately over this issue to make sure that I dont make to many mistakes in what I am saying, you are starting to get things under control again and start shipping out the remaining inverts or refund money so you can have all satisfied customers...  For many this is a hobby that with the current economy at times have to take a back seat..  I am sure that it has influenced your sales too....

                      ** One last thing...  in an attempt to assist you...  email customers, but dont ever post what you have told customers on a online website.  I know its hard not to do that, when they are angry or frustrated about a situation, but as a business owner, you have to keep your customers happy.. Slinging mud back out in the open makes you look like you are angry with the customer for having dealt with you.  Post your problems "like hey all my tanks just broke and I need to get a whole new set of shrimp in before I will have anything in stock"  Dont post what is going on between an individual and you as a business owner.
                      When those who are writing are satisfied that they got their items or a refund was done, most will either stop writing about the issue or will tell everyone that they got what they needed it just took time.

                        Ryan, you don't seem to understand - these are the same excuses you've given for a couple of months now. And in that time you've taken on new customers....who've then also lost out. I've lost track of the amount of excuses from Ryan. Customers have kept their end of the contract in paying you, you've let down your end of the contract in return. The customers aren't at fault here, please stop making it look as if the buyer is always to blame. Or even ever to blame! I've seen so much mud slung at the buyers in this case, all over the internet.....and constantly posting on various threads claiming to be "sorting it out".

                        Please don't anyone feel sorry for this guy until all the customers are satisfied (and that doesn't amount to just writing off hundreds or thousands of dollars), and new customers don't find themselves in the same position.

                        I particularly like this bit from Zulaab's link:

                        Yeah, but d'you communicate back when you should? Or are you too busy trying to defend yourself in the many forum threads currently discussing this issue? If you sorted out all the customers who're unhappy, perhaps you wouldn't keep having to defend yourself?

                          I understand it's a bad situation for everyone here. But please, how about keeping it private? Maybe it is very time consuming trying to defend yourself...so why add to the insults??

                          I'm not on anyone's side. I'm not trying to anger anyone. And I personally know some people that are currently having problems (and I sympathize). I completely understand that the whole situation is EXTEREMELY frustrating, and that the wait has been long already. Just please consider that an animal's well-being is at stake here, too. These things can't be summoned out of thin air. I have to say, hesitantly, that patience is a virtue here. Even though I know some of you have been waiting for months and months, just remember that if you're owed shrimp or whatever inverts, you would probably be happier (and they as well) if they arrived healthy at your door.

                          Again, not trying to start anything here. Actually, I'm just trying to avoid another bashing thread. Let's be fish people about it.  8)

                            MB, thats the problem!!!!  Many times, when you try to keep things "private", they give you the run-around or simply ignore you.  Not until it is brought out in the public eye will they then try to start to defend themselves and try to save their behinds.

                                Hi. I appreciate your advice a lot. I double bag because the shrimp do not consume that much oxygen and it is safer to send them double bagged. It has worked for me countless times.

                                When the same people keep posting the same things on different forums it starts to make me look like the battery guy. However, it is not like that. There is actually a stalker out there (John M.) who joins forums and posts the same things even though we were finished with the sale. I think he may have just joined here. He is from Portland Oregon, check the IP. This person usually has 0-3 posts before starting his routine about me.

                                I appreciate the link to the FTC website. Like I have said, no one is getting scammed. If you want to paint me as some scammer who sells shrimp and then never ships then go ahead. There are plenty of people out there that know otherwise and will testify for me in court.

                                Also, when a customer starts to bring his deal into the open then I am forced to fully disclose everything. A couple of people have attempted to "withhold" information and post incorrect things to make me look bad. I have to defend myself as well.
