Alrite... since i've had so much trouble with "local guy", and since nobody else in the U.S sells them commercially, i decided to go German.
The package got hung up at customs for 10 days and I expected them to be all dead, but i was quite surprised that 10 out of the 15 made it! And the ones that died look "freshly dead" as in they probably died within 24-48hrs. Which means that if the package took the usual 5 days, i'm sure they'll be all alive. Seller made right immediately.
Compare that with our "local guy" USPS 2 day priority and all DOA...getting compensation from this guy was like pulling teeth.
Here's the package. The shrimp were disguised as "fishing line"
Here are the unopened bag. All dry, singly bagged breather bags and double knotted... Quality packaging indeed. Now compare that with our "local guy"... double bagged, single knotted, bags leaked.
Drip acclimated. Their color is real washed out from the stress of shipping.
24hrs later... nicely colored up and eating Shirakura CRS pellets.
Now we'll just have to see if they stay alive....
