I left them alone for a week and i just noticed this!
Complete with black shell and yellow skin.
The babies definitely cannot be more than a week old because they have been in the tank only for a week.
I found 2 babies just now, so i'm not sure if they are from the same parent. So i can't confirm if they only give birth to only one at a time.

I can't help noticing how huge the babies are.
I hate to be the mom who squeezed that one out of her...

Awesome! From what I've read in journals, they give birth in a sort of assembly line style, but I can't remember what the interval between babies is.

They do look pretty big, though!

Do you have the journal article reference?
I think it would make an interesting read.

I tried searching online for info for Tylomelania sp., but i'm not sure if i even got the species right.
My friend in germany calls them Yellow Poso Snails.. but i can't find anything on that either.

The only problem I had in finding articles was that I am not a subscriber to any scientific journals. So, I found tons of articles, but couldn't access them. These, for example, I found through one of the author's websites, under publications.
