I don't know how often they do it. I do know it means they are growing. From what I've read, they don't usually molt in transit, so they do when they get into a better environment, but I don't know if that's fact or crap.

saw some cherry reds and a whole bunch of other shrimp today and have to say those crs look really cool!!!

think i might have to get me some of them for my zebra tank.

Saw them at village fish.

Think they were like $9 some were of good quality but some looked like crap.

They had the cyrstal red, chery red. Amano(sp?), wood, AE and some others. Pretty good selection of shrimp.

fish ranch has the crystals for like 7 or 8 and they look good but they are out of cherries. they still have a lot of red nose however.

i was at fish ranch the other day and didnt see anything. when did you see them tiapan?

they are in a display tank marked towards te back on the end of an isle.

Honestly, it isn't much of a display. Yes he is. I would just call it the tank at the end of the isle where the display sed to be. The crystal red shrimp did look nice though.

i got 10 cherry reds and put them in a 10gal tank with java moss, and all purpse sand from home depot

good luck the the crystal reds they werent as tough for me as cherries have been. that doesnt meanthey won do well for you but if you want good info on them there is a lot on petshrimp.com

Yeah, I looked them up and they won't work with my tank. Seems that the crs require cooler temps and my tank is running a bit warmer then they like. Maybe cherry's then.
