I have reached my limit for pics or I would post many more. With that being said if anyone needs any help building their future patio cover/pond I would be glad to assist. hope everyone has enjoyed the photos.

Very, very, impressive, somehow I missed this post until now. Will this pond be on the Lone Star (or other club ) tour ?
I have taken pond tours in DFW and Houston , and this pond compares with the best.
PS: do you have a relative with the same surname in Huntsville ?

This pond is approx 13' wide x 30' in length. Depth is 4' with minimal slopes on the walls. There is a "infinity wall that runs the entire 13' and rolls over into a skimmer ( I can't post anymore pics , at my limit ) Then 2-2hp pumps pull the return water through 2- 2000w UV lights. Each pump supplies the waterfalls on each side. Inside the falls there is a catch basin where it is loaded with bioballs and such. Like I said earlier. They have stocked the pond with some incredible Koi.

The pond is 14k gallons

My pond is nice but to be on a tour?.. I don't know about that, thanks for the compliment, or was that for the pond in Pearland? That pond is alot bigger and they had more $$$$ to spend than little ole me.

I don't think there is anyone I know in Huntsville? Could it be my long lost millionaire cousin!!!

Both look great. Both well worth being on a pond tour.
The tours on which I have been cover a giant range ; from 200' X 100' mud bottom lakes, to 100 gal tubs , to 20' X 50' X 8' (former swimming pool) with 2 car garage full of filter equipment.
I think it would be worth your while to go to a few Koi club activites ( I must admit I have not been to one in over 5 yr).

Thank you very much for the compliment. To be honest we never intended to be KOI enthusiast. The patio and pond were planned but we never intended to put koi in there. We started out with goldfish and comets with lots of water plants. After 2 or so small koi it became a passion in a matter of weeks. Then I had to put in proper filtration and lots of information was needed to allow imported fish to be flown in. Today there is 0 plants in the pond and the comets are slowly being transfered to a 120g prefabbed pond next to our deck. This has been the most rewarding hobby for me and my family. Thanks again for the compliments

We have 6 koi imported from Japan. The Goshiki we have has turned many heads. She is the most beautiful addition and has a great attitude. They eat out of our hands now which took a couple of weeks to teach.
