    Attached below is a notice from Kodama Koi Farm. Taro Kodama will be visiting Houston on April 7, 2012, to hold a Spring Koi Sale.*We invite all members to come out and experience this rare opportunity to learn about koi and possibly purchase that special koi you have been looking for.*This will probably be your only chance to buy koi directly from a breeder/dealer out of Japan. Hope to see*all Koi/Garden Club members out*there and have fun.

    Kodama Koi Farm : Announcing Spring Koi Sale in the Houston/Pearland area.
    When: Saturday : April 7, 2012
    Time:* 9:00 am* to 3:00 pm.
    Where: * 4050 County road 101 ( also known as Bailey Road)
    * * * * * * * * Manvel, Texas 77578

    Taro Kodama, President of* Kodama Koi Farm,* is bringing high quality Japanese koi to Houston for a one day sale.* Kodama Koi Farm *has *provided high quality Nishikigoi to koi hobbyists in Japan for 40 years.* Since 2001, Kodama Koi Farm *has *served koi lovers in the US with the same kind of quality Nishikigoi and Japanese koi supplies found in Japan.

    There will be a wide variety of high quality koi available, price range from $50 to $200.** Higher priced show quality koi will also be available for purchase.*

    Besides fulfilling the need for genuine Japanese koi for the Houston hobbyist, we will have informative and fun filled activities throughout the day.*

    * *• The area of the koi sale is held next to a koi mud pond stocked with Japanese koi.
    * *• Taro Kodama will be available to share his* experiences and answer any koi related questions.*
    * *• Door prize drawing for a Japanese koi.*
    * *• With purchase of a certain koi the proud new owner will have the opportunity to enter it directly into a judging show tank.*
    * *• At noon time Taro Kodama will give a seminar on koi judging and will pick the winner koi.* A prize will be awarded and the owner will*also have the option to leave the koi in the mud pond to grow out (complimentary).
    * *• Toward the early afternoon hobbyists are welcome to join in our Spring* pond pull and koi harvest from the mud pond.

    Direction* if coming from Houston.
    -Take 288 South toward Pearland
    - Exit County Road 101 and turn to go east on County Road 101 (that is take the route onto the overpass over 288) .* The destination is about 1.5 mile from 288. If lost - please call 713-823-1159 and leave voice message.

      I hope hobbyist take this opportunity to go to this event. The Kodama family has been in the koi world for a long time and is well respected around the world.

        300 Gallon Moshi, Clown loaches.
        180 Gallon Red Bulu, Clown Loaches.
        120 Gallon Ikola, Clown Loaches.
        92 Gallon Duboisi, Clown Loaches.
        40 Gallion fry.
        10 Gallon fry.
        33 Gallon Shrimp.
        4000 Gallon Koi.

          Maybe the first time in Houston butnot to Texas. Taro comes to the Dallas show yearly in September.
