    Re: DIY pond

Here is the pond using the kit you asked about.

For some reason the pic wouldn't attach from imaguygeek's computer, so I'm posting it for him.  This is the pond we built using the same type of kit you are looking at.  Note:  this is before we added the koi and the plants to the pond.

And here is a much larger pond with rubber liner. 3900 gal, 4 waterfalls.

          Re: DIY pond

Has any one joined two or more liners together to make a bigger or more shapely pond ?
Can you glue them or does it have to be a heat seal seam ?
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

            Re: DIY pond

I would avoid attempting to join 2 liners to make one pond. My experience is that even the slightest leak (and you will end up with one eventually) will cost you more aggrivation and time than it's worth and you will end up having to go buy a larger liner eventally. The only way I know that this will work is to make 2 seperate ponds and join them with a small well lined stream.
