Main pond is down to 41f and all the koi are in the cave under our waterfall. I have a massive 6mil tarp wrapped over the poly carbonate and over 80% of the pond with 2 space heaters. They should be fine through this. The part I am concerned about is when the temps rise above 50f next week and they come out of their trance. These fluctuating weather patterns are not good. I could not get our heater installed a few days ago and have to hope for the best. Once the water goes up a few degrees we have to find the other dead pleco and get him out. Not looking forward to swimming in freezing water but it has to be done.
