Ok, We just upgraded the Goldfish tank to a 29G thanks to the Petco sale. We need some tank cleaning buddies. Any suggestions for some cold water tank cleaners?

How cold is cold? Apple snails should work - I tend to keep my fish room unheated in the winter and the snails did just fine in the 60-70's and they would not bother the gold fish.Guppies:

Do they breed a lot and overrun a tank?

They may breed a lot but the eggs are laid above the water and can be removed. Also, the females prefer it warmer to lay eggs. Mine stopped laying when the temperature got in the low 70's. If you only get one or two, you may not have any breeding and no eggs.

Is the aquarium inside? If so, bristlenose plecos will work fine at room temperature.Comment

Yeah its inside. We were about to get some plecos but I wanted to ask first before putting a fish in that's not suited for the temps.
