question about solar and ponds

I would like to have a pond, but running power out to it is tricky. Has anyone used solar options? Any recommendations?

At my Job we sale a lot of solar power equipment. It is high dollar. The big prob. with solar is you can't run big pumps that use big amp numbers. It will either not run it at all or it will run the battery back up dead be for the sun comes up the next day.
IMO> it would be best to just run power to were you want your pond.
