For those that are interested I found at Lowes a Garden Treasures filter rated for 800 Gallons reduced to 14.99. I'm not sure if they are any good but for the price it almost as cheap as making one. It comes with coarse and fine filter pads as well as a few bio-balls. The model is PDF800. These were at the new 2920 & Kuykendal location. Just a heads if your looking for a cheap filter.
