hopefully it all works out. i have heard of all female betta tanks working, but everyone needs their own space and lots of cover to hide if getting chased. they are still semi-aggressive fish overall. i think they say allow a few gallons per female....so 4 or 5 is the max for a 10gal setup. i have never tried it but see what happens.

I had 4 in the 10 but now they're in the 20 with other fish. I really wanted them in a species tank so they could be the star of the show but with Katie being outcast and the guppies always getting disease I switched them. They're doing real well. The clique of 3 is still a clique, while Katie just does her own thing. She likes hanging out and laying between the leaves on the sword plant on the right side of the tank. She will only join the clique at feeding time and I notice they don't run her off, it's ok if she eats with them.

I really, really, really, love my sorority and will probably always have one from now on.

From what little I've read about betta breeding the fry sounds like waaaayyyyy too much work, and I wouldn't even want to deal with people wanting to put my babies in a cup. :furious:

Seems to be Zoe that dislikes Katie the most, but they all still seem to be doing fine in the 20. I keep debating if I want to try and add some more girls or am I going to break down and try the ember tetras that I'm so very attracted to. I notice ADG got some more embers in. Gallery has them too, but I just love ADG so much! Oh, and ADG also got some of those neon blue gobies! I smell a shopping trip to ADG coming! You ready Crizz?

It takes a little bit of work, but well worth it.
