The one I have is 8" I believe and made of acrylic.
Look up screenname... that's the handle he goes by here. He had a bunch of them made not too long ago but I don't think anyone here really cared for them.
I keep my bettas in 4"x4"x8"H beanny baby boxes - I can get 4 of them in the space that nano cube takes up.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

Now this would all depend on wheter one is trying to breed them which keeping the maximum fish in the allotted space is ideal but for those that are not breeding the maximum space utilized by a single fish would be ideal.
idealy my plan is to pamper my studds in nanos, all spawn will go into beanie boxes and females in several 10 gals. i know it could pretty crowded with nanos. i mean there will be alot of males that would want to breed. but u know the special ones i would like to see them in condos
Yes, The one I used to keep on my office desk had a hand blown 1 gallon rectangular home, trimmed in stained glass with gravel to match the stained glass.
He ate from my hand and caught the attention of everyone passing by. I had to change the water every Monday because the clean up crew fed him too much on weekends.
But It hard to admire the beauty of the fish when youre surrounded by 500+ bettas
