I don't know what you have planned for them, and I don't know if it exists or not, but I think that a solid black guppie could be a good starting point for a solid white guppie. I think that they would be an awesome fish and could offer a bunch of possibilities for the future. There's something about a red and white guppie that appeals to me.

Hmmm....never seen an all white guppy...seen albinos and such but nothing all white. Right now I have been just having fun, all my other tanks are somewhat high maintenance so this tank is just something simple.
I think it all has to do with me going on vacation and having a few prized fish die cause of one...a failure with an AutoTopOff pump and two me not being there to catch a problem. I have torn down my planted tank since it was a bit of high maintenance as well and plan to re-do it so that it would require a bit less attention and will be tearing down my NanoReef tank for a bit bigger one so that would require a bit less attention as well.
The guppies kinda bring back memories of the old days where you just throw fish into a tank and watch babies pop out type thing and also seeing what they go for at the HLA auction kinda sparked my interest in them as well as the fiance showing interest in them.
I found a really nice green cobra female that I will be adding to the group in hopes of a nice black snakeskin fry.
well i hate to be bad , but i have too.
you are very lucky those black guppies years ago were something impossible to get, luckily for you somebody take the job of add gene after gene so you have your black guppy.
sometimes when i go to the auction and i see this kind of guppies for auction and people really dont care much about them makes me a little bit sad.
waht i am trying to say over here is , anybody can breed guppys but not anybody can maintain lines going on that are fertile good looking and up to certain standards.
the thing is , is a lot of work and people dont care much, not because the fish are bad only because people do not inform correctly about genetics, and how dificult is to work with this fish.
anyway good luck breeding them if you need any pointers on what to do to mantain that strain going wirte me a pm.
I have 4 or 5 empty tanks sitting in my living room and I learned that the more tanks in a small area the easier it is to sneak a couple more in. Any thoughts on an all white guppy Max?

Well I have more then a few tanks in each room too but somehow the new ones get discovered really fast....the small ones I keep in the trunk of my car till no ones looking 8)
well there is already an all white guppy it is call super white, its albino, gold, blau or trip[le recessive.
the all blacks guppys from eikwewoa, its probably very dificult to maintain, in the past an all black guppy was something impossible due to a problem in the pigments, the blacker the fish , the more tendency to be infertile an also to trigger this lethal gene who kill the guppysbut nowdays with all the tools the breeders have its been possible.
Max, the fiance dosen't want anything to do with fish after what I put her through...
Supflyz, I do not know what is what yet....just the different patterns and tails.
Villa, I have been reading about the black and I think that is so interesting about them so I am planning to try and breed these out for now and later on I will play with mixing.
