Hehehe, they are pretty neat looking little fish. I have seen some of the hybrid crosses with guppies and they don't look half bad. Some still look like Endlers though, so someone could sell you some that they say are pure but really aren't like Jughead said. I have seen them on Aquabid for all kinds of prices, but if you can get them locally, that would probably be best so that you can see them before you buy them. I am pretty sure that PhishPhreek has a colony of them, so you might ask him if he has any for sale. Maybe you can mix some of everyones for more diverse genetics or something! LOL! Does that really matter with fish though I wonder?

I think Guppymax and Islander also have endlers.

I think the last time someone posted looking for some they were both thin on endler stock......maybe try villa1972.

Yeah last time someone posted looking for them everyone seemed to be very thin on them. He actually ended up buying the ones I had. They didnt seem to be doing anything for me so he picked them up. Then when moving the tank they were in I have come across about 6 fry that have been living just fine. Which has lead me back into them.

It looks like I can get some here locally so I think I will pass on the trios on plantedtank. I did see those last night and thought about them though.

I keep Limia perugiae and Nezzie swords in a planted tank and have never seen either of them go after their babies.  Even the 1 inchers who will quibble amongst themselves completely ignore the fry so much so that after a few days, the fry don't even feel the need to hide any longer - just a thought

I am the one who picked up Ranakalea's Endlers. I have so far gotten 2 fry, they are hopefully some where in the tank.

I just picked up about 20 black bar endlers myself.....hopefully soon they will start pumping out fry.

Howdy,

Durning last winter Mark & I had a 15 gallon long planted tank with a trio of kribes and handful of endlers.  By spring we still had the trio of kribes and over 50 endlers; we kept selling off endlers from this tank all winter.  

We are low on endlers now becasue we were trying to breed our regular females with albino males.  No luck with breeding the beautiful albino endlers so we will focus back with the regular endlers, Maybe we will start with fresh stock.  When HAS was at Scott's house last month he a a tank full of endlers.  Check with him.

EK, Maybe we can get some fry or a trio of your black bar endlers.  I still have your tank for you for the next time we meet. later, ken/mark

I have some endler's that I could sell. I believe they are islander's stock.
