You'd be better off setting up 1 tank for the dang hookers, I mean females. I ain't got room for all those extra tanks, so I'm just putting all my fry in 1 tank for now. Hooray for fishy romper room!180g - 2 Red Oscars, 1 Tiger Oscar, 1 JD, Convicts, convicts & more convicts
75g - 1 Silver Aro, 1 Mean Koi Angel

I have a friend with a simple 29 gallon. I gave him some wilds and they produced non stop. He gets by with the minimum amount of attention to the tank. I kept some and spent alot of time and effort and they only produced once. I guess some are just not as picky as others.

Picky little things, aren't they? LOL
This morning I volunteered to adopt 4 juvie mollies. 2 of them turned out to be balloon mollies. I don't really like these things because it looks like someone stomped on their heads but it was better than them being flushed.
BTW, I'm STILL waiting!180g - 2 Red Oscars, 1 Tiger Oscar, 1 JD, Convicts, convicts & more convicts

i just bought a bunch of mollys, and tetras for my son and had no idea any of them were prego now i have a bunch of mystery babies swimming around. unfortunately i have too many rocks in there to try and remove them but with so many hiding places maybe i'll get a few survivors and figure out what they are.

Mollies can actually live anywhere from freshwater to full salt. Currently mine are in 1.004 & they seem to thrive & breed like bunnies.
Stephen, tetras aren't livebearers so I'm almost positive that they're molly fry. They're fairly good at hiding, but in my experience, the tetras are fry terrors. I removed all of the tetras from my molly tank. All I keep in that tank now is mollies & platys.180g - 2 Red Oscars, 1 Tiger Oscar, 1 JD, Convicts, convicts & more convicts

Many of my new fry looked black newborn but changed color a lot. Never to "white" (wouldn't that be cool, Lippanzer Mollies?) but who knows who the male(s) was/were?
Or...black.Working for a better Future for my Fish!

I've had orange with black heads at birth (still that way weeks later), black that turned dalmatian, black and oh yes... black. I do have one that's pretty CLEAR right now and is more than a month old. Kinda creeped out about that one, lol.180g - 2 Red Oscars, 1 Tiger Oscar, 1 JD, Convicts, convicts & more convicts
