Platy Variety In South Houston

I'm new to the Hobby and looking for LFS that carry platies in a variety of colors.
PetSmart tends to have the most variety from what I've seen.

Places I've visted thus far:
Fish Galley-Houston
Fish-N-Pets Unl.
City Pets
3 PetSmarts

Can anyone lead me to where I might find platies in different color patterns?

Are you looking for something in particular? Houston Aquatics has some interesting stuff from time to time.

I'm not looking for anything particular, but different Platy from what PetSmart has stocked on the regular basis.

Examples I'd like to purachase from a LFS:
Blue platy
Neon Green spotted platy
Tiger platy
Black pather platy
Redtail white calico platy
etc...

It may take a while to find some of those in South Houston. . . the black panther platy and blue platy should be the easier ones on your list though. Good luck with your search. You may have to expand your search to places like aquabid and online stores specializing in livebearers.

i mainly see the most variety at places like petsmart and petco...ones like mickey mouse, sunburst, black parrot, red, varitus...usually they are just all inter-mixed. for more specialized types i would think you need to special order
