It's safe to assume any guppy you hear about that has died, came from T&T

I would go back to T&T and let them know that the guppies were sick. They might give you some store credit.

I did and he acted like he could care less. Tried to blame my water even though there were only 2 guppies left in his tank and I even pointed out there were dead ones in there. Aaaaand not to mention Beth is having the same issue, but inky with his fish. Then he acted all busy and proceeded to help every other customer in the store except me. I even tried asking him about some plants, then a girl came in asking for the exact same plant I was asking about. He went and got the plant for her, checked her out and never even came back to get the plant I wanted or to see if there were any other plants I need help with. I had some one else get the plants since I really didn't feel like going anywhere else yesterday (I was working on a big fish tank project). Then he at least checked me out and finally said oh don't worry about those guppies. I'll give you a discount if you come back and get some once we get our next shipment. What I wanted to tell him isn't appropriate to post to these boards. Needless to say I will NEVER EVER go back to T&T and I will discourage anyone that asks me about them. Which is a real shame considering they are about 5 minutes from my house. I would rather drive 30 minutes one way too a different shop, than go back there. If your prices are double every where else, your fish don't live (especially easy ones like guppies) and you have horrible customer service, you shouldn't be open.

All my T&T guppies are dead. 2 out of 3 from Unlimited seem to be doing great, even courting the ladies, and so far the ones from Extreme are doing real well, except for the ax murderer, bit that's a different story. LOL I've now lost 2 girls from Crizz. Can't help but think there had to be something wrong with the T&T guys, seems too much of coincidence for Crizz and I to be having so much trouble after getting fish from the same tank on the same day.

They're probably angels compared to these darn guppys! I keep looking at that tank on the kitchen floor. Debating on taking it to Extreme and having him reseal it. I can't do it because it's too deep and would kill my back. It has a small leak towards the top. I filled it with water and let it sit on the patio for a week, but that was a LONG time ago. The glass looks fantastic. I obsess over scratches. LOL

Put some Hongi fry in there to grow out with them. They will behave.

Sounds like it was a bad batch that they got in. My experience is: if I see a dead fish in the tank, I would not buy any fish from that tank no matter how much I wanted it.

Yes, my Hongi fry are all healthy. I just sold 50 Hongi last week. Nobody complained yet.

There weren't any dead fish in that tank on the day we got ours. It was a day or 2 later when Crizz went back that he saw dead fish in the guppy tank. The guppies just died so fast. I think it had to have been a bad batch and I know that happens. With the stores having universal systems seems like disease would be in all the tanks any way.

If all of my fish wind up dying no matter what I do, I'm going to completely break that tank down and put it back in the garage. I'll get the other tank and set it up and start over. I figure if the infected tank sits empty in the garage for who knows how long all the crud will die off.

My little ax murder seems so happy to have the tank all to himself. Such happy swimming and dancing all over the tank. He gets so excited every time he sees me that he shakes and twists his whole body. Three of the boys in the other tank were arguing this morning before I left the house. Didn't look too vicious. I hope every one is alive when I get home.
