What kind of fish did you catch?
I always, always, always quarantine any new fish, but especially ones I've collected locally. Usually for between one and two months, just to make sure."Millennium hand and shrimp!"Comment

deffinately, because one of those sun perch i picked up had some kind of illness. not sure what, but i'm treating it with hot water and salt till i can figure it out. (turning the temp up and adding aquarium salt). hes doin alot better, but it looked like some kind of fungus.140 New World Cichlids

its no biggie, he was quarantined cause you told me they were WC, so noone is worse for wear! still haven't found the front tho...140 New World Cichlids

i kno, the frontosa was sitting pretty in my 140 gallon tank, and has been MIA for 3 days. i can't find him, and nothing points to him being dead, no chemical spikes, no body fragments, nothing....140 New World Cichlids

ive been told they hide, really well, and my hubby did a water change (50%) in that tank, and said he thought he saw something that looked like it (from what he described) so i'm still hoping hes in there, i'm just not seein him.140 New World Cichlids
