Finally!!!!

After looking and collecting for almost 2 years i have finally caught 2 little texas cichlids!I now know where they are and what i need to catch them.
I brought 2 home so far and if i can find a new net ill have more tomarrow.
Im so pumped!!!
i will post pics when i can.
Also caught some large mouth bass ,a ton of huge shad,shinners,freshwater drum.
And carp.

Congrats. There are a ton in Sugar Land. One afternoon I must have caught forty under a bridge on worms, and every time I pulled up my minnow trap I had almost a dozen little ones.

You probably know this, but they are pretty aggressive. Male/female pairs seem to gang up on other fish... had two that killed a decent sized dollar sunfish and a male longear their size.
