http://www.natureserve.org/getData/d...Hucs/index.jsp is a very useful website to get a feel for what can be found in a particular watershed. It may miss out on a few things, but it usually gets most right.
Greenfins definitely aren't found in this area though. I think they're from the Carolinas. If you don't have it already, Peterson's Field Guide to Freshwater Fishes is incredibly useful, as is Freshwater Fish of Texas by Bonner, Thomas & Whiteside (also available at http://www.bio.txstate.edu/~tbonner/txfishes/index.htm).
