Anybody in the Pearland/friendswood/clear lake area go collecting?

Ive never been, but am an avid fisherman and know many good places. I have a cast net, and some sunfish rods that are great for perch, bluegill etc. Also have a boat, but right now I'm wanting to stick to the banks. Looking for invertebrates right now but if somebody is looking for something in particular I'll see what I catch.

So anybody up for going?

I know several places along clear creek, as well as many local ponds and other creeks. Havent really made up my mind yet. Was thinking of starting at challenger 7 park. Has access to clear creek and a pond in the front of the park.

Don't need any of that. Just hit a ditch. I've pulled bluegill, Texas cichlid, bass, catfish, etc, out locally around my area(el dorado and bay area) Im down to go.

I'm really just looking to go and find stuff for fun, only thing I'm interested in are shrimp really. But I don't mind getting stuff for other people.

However I've caught a cold and don't think I'll be going this weekend :(

check out the creek on middlebrook right under the bridge its a very fish active spot you will be surprised the type of fish get pulled out with a castnet
