Todays catch!

So finally got around to meeting up mnemenoi with kiko so the three of us went bayou fishing and this is what we came home with.

What I brought home out of the bucket we caught.



Got a few of these G.I. Joe rock fish

Banded pygmy sunfish


This thing is like a line shark or something

Blackstripe Topminnnow

This is a NickintxFish it has glitter all along side of it.


Golden Topminnow

This has to be some sort of spine fish, look at the dorsal fins on this guy.



Finally, this guy was the catch of the day, baby balooga whale



Some driftwood we collected




Had a blast kicking it with mnemenoi and lookslater! They have freshwater prawns in their planted tank from their last collection trip but I forgot to take pictures of it.

Dangit forgot to take pictures of all the marbled dwarf crays we caught and the Fire red lobster.

mnemenoi caught some amano looking shrimp and some wild form RCS too, he's got them so hopefully he'll post some pictures.

I went out today and caught some specks today around Kemah, but they aren't going in a fish tank, they're going in MY tank!!!

I had a "NickintxFish" in my tank till early this morning. Apparently the last water change made the tank level a little higher than normal and it tried to jump up stream. I really liked the color and sparkle they get after being in the tank a while.

What steps are you taking to ensure that crawfish aren't carrying anything that might harm your puffer.

I would just salt them maybe a bit of "slap yo mamma" should be good to go
