Help Identify This Big Snail

Stopped by a little creek on the way home today and found this guy with its snorkel sticking out of the water . I thought it was a clam of some sort until I picked it up . I did a quick search and found a few snail that look like it . Channeled Apple Snail - Pomacea Insularum or Viviparus Intertextus .





Any info will be appreciated , Thanks for your help .

Mofos are everywhere... the creek along George Bush Park has like a million apple snail shells. Keep your eyes open for their pink eggs, they're pretty distinct.

And they're not native.
