Caught this thing in my neighbor's pond, what is it and should I keep it?

that' what I was thinking too but it's got really nice red tipped fins and pearly spots.

Maybe a hybrid of some kind ?

That's Tilapia. There are zillions of the red tipped one n Greens Bayou and the tributaries. They look really cool from above. Color fades when you pick them up, color darkens when the bayou gets stagnant
