redid the tank and replaced substrate with eco-complete.




foreground: Elatine triandra and Hemianthus micranthemoides
mid: cryp of some kind (3 differnt looking ones) downoi, dwarf sag and Blyxa japonica.
background: bolbitis, Rotala rotundifolia, Egeria densa, and a fern tree(driftwood full of ferns)
center: a piece of driftwood that has fissiden on it.

Lookin good! So what happened with the CO2, you said that you goofed in another thread...? Hope everything's doing well now. Is the Madagascar Lace still in there?

i was screwing with the needle valve and instead of letting it level off before turning the solenoid off i left it, woke up the next day a couple hours after it came back on and all the snails were dead.

i had to replace the sand cause it got really bad with no cleaning, compacted and i think it might have been the reason why my madagascar lace withered away along with my crinum that was in there.

a lot of it is because i tore it down and redid it but when it settles ill take picture of everything pearling, looks similar but more bubbles floating through the water.

thanks mzunu, did you ever get the E.T. planted? mine looked good for a few days and all died  :(

i think there is one plant left of it all so i pythoned it all out and have some HC on the way

some guy in ohio i believe, nothing major though. im trading it actually for a used heater i got. think there is a person out in mckinney that is selling lots of HC but they are emersed grown. think she/he goes by milac on apc and plantedtank.

I have the same story as yours, ek.  :(  But oh well, I'll try again sometime soon, hopefully! I think a lot of it also had to do with the fact that it was sitting in a bag for a few days before I was able to pick it up.

Post some pictures when you get the HC planted!
