ADG Aqua Soil is is supposed to be the best for planted tanks.

You got three types to choose

The leading source brandable domain names. Competitive prices. Excellent service. Get your domain name today.

Dan, at Houston Aquarium Warehouse sell it.

As for how many bags, it depends on how many inches of substrate you want.

Here is an online calc you can use

Try aquariumplants.com (sorry I can't get url copying to work from my computer). It comes in a 5 gallon bucket and is very good. I have their substrate in a 75 and the results are very good.

Red Sea also has a good product.

I only use ADG soil myself. Water stays very clear.

I use Eco-Complete, but would go with Aquasoil now.

Just letting you know, it's ADA AquaSoil, not ADG AquaSoil. However, ADG does sell it on the website. :)

I would recommend AquaSoil or Flourite.

ADA Aquasoil "Amazonia" Have not used the other ADA Aquasoils
Make sure to cap it with the powder type if you are planting small plants like HC.

                  Flourite is decent.
