Looks like an excellent start! I'll enjoy watching your journal as you continue to build it all.

What do you plan for your photo period? Do you plant to dose ferts?

I have some API leaf zone and these spikes that go near the roots. I wont start dosing until all of my plants are in.

          Updated Pics 8/29/09

          About 17 blue Tetra
          About 25 Ember Tetra
          9 oto cats
          10 corys
          1 snail eater
          2 blue rams
          3 long fin german rams

I had a rough start and got a bad case of BGA but I was quickly able to get rid of most of it with that EM Erythromycin.

My water is a little more cloudy then I would like. As I update this post I am sure it will clear up over the next 2 months. My tank is still new.

My rare Tonina fluvitalis plant bunches & 1 of my blue rams from HAW

Rare Syngonanthus "Madeira" plant small in middle in front of wood. In front is chain sword. Its been expending well, i want it to take up the front part of the tank on the right side.

                Update: 9/27/09

                Healthier Swords:

Long Fin German Ram from HAW

Apisto Cockatoo Double Red from HAW:

                Apisto agassizii:

Tonina fluviatalis rare been kinda hard to grow. Dont know if I have enough light. Tops grow good, but bottoms die off due to lack of light I think.

Baby Angels I got from Matt:

Still fighting BBA which sucks... Hopefully things will get better as my plants keep growing.

Try EXCEL for the BBA (this is in addition to your CO2). Watch the overdosing though.
