I'm new to planted aquarium. It's been running for almost 2 months.Couple of days i discovered something which looks like a hair (algae) attached to the leaves of every plant. What's the cause and how to get rid of this? Thanks.

excel works but in large amounts, like 3+ times the rec amount and if there are other things contributing to the algae it will come back after the excel goes away.
Look up Neritina reclivata, the olive nerite. It's a type of snal that eats all types of algae (at least so far) and won't eat the plants. We'll probably order more before too long if someone wants to go in with us.
