What's up with that? Are those really roots that I'm seeing? Should I pinch off the leave and bury it?

java fern growing roots on leaves?
Trogdor was a man. Or maybe he was a dragon man. Or maybe he was just a dragon. But he was still TROGDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!
You know, fish are great. I love my fish. But what I really want is a monkey.Tags: None

Yup, like he said, that's how they reproduce - the "mother" leaf, usually when dying, grows little plantlets. I usually (but not always) just let the leaf die and the babies attach where they fall. If you want to be more organized about it, lol, wait until the babies have at least 2 or 3 leaves, then detach the whole mother leaf, pluck them off, and attach them where you please. Sometimes, if I'm impatient, I also pluck off the mother leaf and clip off the parts with plantlets on them, and attach that way - I don't like to force the babies off the leaf."Millennium hand and shrimp!"
