Fish housed so far:
20 marbled hatchets
40 rummys
60 cardinals
10 Leopoldi angels + 1 Altum
19 cory loxozonus

Still to go:
pencil fish and splash tetras
more cardinals
Clean up crew (farlowella, otos, etc)
Selected plants (different variants of grassy echinodorus)
More wood
Create a larger CO2 reactor
hang my lights...

What kind of pencil fish are you considering?

I've been looking for pencil fish recently and can't find any.

Would like to have some Marginatus if they are available.

Actually, I'm quite sure the cardinals will be Altum food as well as leopoldi food. This is why I need a lot more wood and plants.

Red or beckfordi possibly but this is going to be an orinoco biotope so I'm trying to within that river or one of the tributaries.

The (currently floating) wood is from HAW. I bought it about a year ago, and never used it. The other pieces (sunken) were bought about 10 years ago from Aquatek - here in Austin.
