    Seems that the Malaysian Trumpet Snails are a surefire way to guage O2 in the tank...if they're at the top, everybody needs more oxygen. What'cha think?

        Hmmm, interesting...

        Not sure. I know that they usually come out at night, which is also (coincidentally?) when O2 levels are lowest, right?

            I do not think this is a good indicator. I have seen MTS at the top of the tank when all of my plants are pearling. Just my opinion.
