u absolitely crzy man, but if ur minutia is growin that fast i will eventually have to get some more from u cause mine dont grow as fast, plus i had stuff up rootin it soo much in tank but looks like finally getting rooted.

I want to set up a simply mini ada reef too now but worry about the ada light stand and saltwater.  Do you have any pic on the upgrade light? Any glass protecting the bulb?

I have been neglecting this tank pretty badly not doing water changes on it like I should be being high light and all but I'm just growing out the MM for the next scape. I have also been overfeeding the embers with the secret stuff to get them healthy and to get them as vibrant as they are.


Tnguyen, the light is coated so I doubt there will be a problem and it's a good distance away. The bulb does have a glass cover which is also the uv protective glass(most need this).

Jws6, I had initially planned for my nanocube upgrade to be the 90p overflow which is what mike has done at adg but ended up scoring a 30g oceanic cube for close to nothing and it's brand new! I am in the gathering process for that though.

I didn't plan on doing the dual Mini-M's but I got a second at a price I could not pass up!

I might be doing another planted tank that will be the ADA 60p and the hardware itself on that tank is enough to drop jaws! But we will have to see if I can pull it off.

Keep an eye out on the thread cause when the "Dueling Mini-Ms" is done its gonna be awesome!

Oh, the algae is black beard algae.....some tuff stuff! I haven't made much attempt to rid it but deligent excel spot treatment will get rid of it. In the Mini-M I recently upped the co2 till the inhabitants kinda gasp, backed of a tad and left it like that for like 2 days now and the BBA has started to fall off the rocks and float off to the intake pipe.

I love high-tech planted tanks!
