Anyone know what the minimum light requirement I can get a way with on this plant. I have it in my 330G tank that is 36" deep. I want to reduce my electrical use and was hoping that about 400w for about 12 hrs would be sufficient. What do you all think?

400W for 8 hrs would be better

I had some swords in a 100 gal once with only 90 watts of light or so. Of coarse, it was a much more shallow tank (20" I think? ) and they grew SLOOOOOOOWLY if at all (but did live for a couple years). I would go with 10 hrs light, but you might could skip by with 8.Comment

Not much light is making it through 36 inches of water, I would increase the intensity and decrease the photo period if you want to save electricity.Comment
