Anyone have any experience with these plants, Echinodorus rubin? I keep a variety of plants, including crypts, swords, dwarf sagittaria, and water sprite. I'm wondering if they are like rotala, which remain green unless there is a massive amount of light, fertilization, and CO2. Both possible tanks get ample light, and are fertilized sparingly, but CO2 is not in the equation...yet. If these plants are just going to look like a really expensive amazon sword, then I don't think I'll waste the money. If they will stay dark without extensive work, I would love them as a breeding plant for my leaf fish.

Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
