    I got two different fissidens mosses
    Fontanus for sure collected from San Marcos, and another species that I have not yet identified

    both are wild collected here in Texas

      Also known as Flame Moss, right? Do you have any you can part with? I don't need much at the moment.

        No, flame moss is something else, the common name for Fissidens Fontanus is Phoenix moss



        And yes I have some that I can part out with.

        here is a tank (not mine, grabed it of the net) with Fissidens F. It will naturally create a mound like shown.
