    Got a bamboo plant n a resin like vase can i submerse the whole thing in my 13 gal angel tank or wil it hurt the fish the bamboo plant only wil it hurt need an idea for a tank with stuf n it ty
    55 gal DISCUS Community Tank)
    45 gallon tank OB Peacock, asst. peacock, with albino oscars community
    10 gallon (fancey guppy, dwarfpuffer, mollies, platys)
    10 gallon Hospital tank
    2.5 gallon dragon betta male tank
    13 gallon plants only tank soon to B saltwater!!!

    i dont think it will work i believe i have seen this before and after a while the bamboo starts to turn yellow/dying.

      maybe if its above water but fully submerged no.

        I planed on having it grow out the top of tank like a mini forest

          Bamboo will not grow if submerged. To do what you are wanting you will need to get shoots that are already tall enough to grow out of the water. How deep are you planning the water to be? (I am assuming 10-12") What substrate are you planning to use? an augmented gravel should be fine.

            Ditto. If it's already tall enough to be out of the water, it should be okay (you need some good lighting for them...more than if you just had it sitting on the counter since it will need the extra photosynthesis to produce more O2 to pump into the submersed roots to keep it from drowning in the long-run). WHEW, that was a long sentence!
