Melon bloom

My melon sword finally bloomed. The plant is over 2 feet tall, and flowering stem is 3 foot tall.

I have one that has been the same size (small) for a couple of years now. What are you doing to get yours to grow?

As far as how I am doing it, well...... Lots of fish, lots of Flourish, Co2, lots of fish food. Cheap lights. And nothing else.
I bought both of these at Petco for 4.00 in those little plastic mesh cups. Bought them at Christmas time for my daughter, had to adopt them a week later as she wasnt happy with the tank any more. They were about 4 inches tall, and when happy they grow about an inch and a half per day. They grow in spurts and they rest a little for a week or so and then another leaf shoots to the surface.

No secrets other than that. But I trim of leaves as they start looking ugly, they shoot new leaves from the center of the plant at least once weekly while happy.
