  • Seachem Flourish excel

I've had planted tanks for around four years, well at least one for that long. I've been dosing with flourish or api leaf zone for around three maybe three and a half years. I mean I also use diy c02 and substrates for plants also but its the combination that gets the results. About three weeks ago I started dosing with flourish excel. I've always heard great comments and reviews but I've never seen excel at the lfs. Got it online. Anyways I know most of you on this site already know this but I can't believe the difference. In this short amount of time my plants are looking way better. I've got offshoots on more than half my java fern leaves, and just new growth everywhere. To others looking at my tank like my friends and family they probably can't notice much change, but I sure can. Well like I just said, most of yall probably already know it, but excel is excellent. I wish I would've listen to some of yall years back.

Yep I started in the hobby about 3-4 months ago with a full scale low-tech planted tank. I dose Excel (actually metricide 14, a much cheaper alternative) every day, and the results are quite amazing.

    I also dose dry fertilizers!

Should look into metricide 14 as an alternative. You can get a huge Jug for about 15 bucks. Below is a little over 3 months of growth!

AquaticAddict, You should be careful. People who start seeing that kind of growth in their planted tanks tend to get hooked and end up with a symptom called "CO2 Pressure Regulator-itis". It's highly addictive.

Digitallinh, that's a great looking planted tank!! What kind of lighting do you have?
